Revisiting the William Cecil Hotel – Special Wedding Packages 2014-2015

The recent price comparisons of wedding venues in Peterborough conducted in this blog threw up new information about a very popular venue. Unfortunately, this information arrived too late to be included in the write-up, so we’re going to give the venue – the William Cecil Hotel, Stamford – another blog post to update you all on its new special wedding offers for 2014/15.

We’ve previously detailed the outstanding qualities of this venue – its excellent rooms, service and menus – and you will go a long way to find such a wonderful setting for your big day, surrounded as it is by the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside and the historic splendours of Stamford. It also has ample parking, a choice of reception rooms, and a garden marquee.

The price of a Wedding at the William Cecil Hotel

Of course, the William Cecil is happy to provide a bespoke service but now, for just £5,995, you can have the hotel’s Spring & Autumn wedding package, based on sixty day guests and ninety evening guests. This package includes a glass of wine for each guest on arrival, canapés, and a three-course wedding breakfast. You will also have a glass of wine for the toast and a half bottle of house wine per person. The price also covers the cost of room hire, a master of ceremonies, a DJ, evening nibbles, and the use of the bridal suite.

For additional day guests add £70 per person, and for evening guests add £20. This offer is valid for Fridays and Sundays between 1st April and 30th June 2014/15 and 1st September to 31st October 2014/15, but excludes Burghley Horse Trials weekend.

The Winter Wedding offer will cost you £4,995, based on sixty day guests and ninety evening guests. For this you get the same features as you would in the Spring & Autumn package. Once again, add £70 for any additional day guest and £20 for each additional evening guest.

The Winter Wedding offer is valid for the period 1st November, 2014, to 31st March, 2015, although this does not include Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or Valentine’s Day.

Your guests may wish to stay overnight and the William Cecil Hotel has twenty-seven well-appointed rooms ranging from £81 to £199, depending on the type of room, day of the week, and time of year.

The venue’s other options are on a price-per-head basis. Their Classic package is £90 per head, their Chic package is £120, and their Luxury package £150.
