Laura & Roberto – September wedding at Barton Hall

We were so blessed with the weather in September last year. By the end of the year, the light is much softer than in the middle of summer. Simply beautiful! As beautiful as Laura and Roberto’s wedding at Barton Hall. This venue in Kettering has all it takes to organise a perfect wedding day. Such a great building, interior and fantastic grounds. I was very excited to be taking photographs again in the stunning orangery filled up with natural light. If you are a photographer, then you will understand my excitement!
Laura and Roberto are two wonderful people in love who were passionate about getting the details right. Their wedding at Barton Hall was planned perfectly and filled with awesome extras, like Italian coffee and pizza. People who know me understand how much I appreciate a good cup of coffee! I couldn’t wait to photograph and try out the coffee from the vintage Italian Piaggio Ape. The decorations, exquisite little details, and all the lovely flowers enhanced the stunning interior of Barton Hall perfectly. The couple also decided to have a Toast Master. Having a toast master at your wedding makes a massive difference. I would recommend it to everyone who is planning to get married. It makes the wedding day run more smoothly and on schedule.
On the day, both Bride and Groom had a funky bunch of people with them—bridesmaids and groomsmen who were determined to have fun and celebrate the big day in style. There were two young bridesmaids and a handsome page boy. A gang of Laura’s friends seemed to be in charge of the fun! The guests were entertained by a fantastic magician – Ricky Locke. It was perfect! The wedding photography at Barton Hall was a real pleasure for me, just as it was to meet Laura and Roberto. They had a great time, sunshine, a good party, Italian coffee and delicious pizza in the evening. I love these guys and I was honoured to be their photographer!
